I Don’t Want to Work Two Jobs for the Rest of My Life

I’ve been thinking about how differently I want to build in this season of my life. For most of my adult life, working two jobs became normal for me. Usually, both were connected to education. When I needed more, I worked more. When something had to get done, I figured it out. But now, in my 50s, I’m starting to question that pattern. I know how to work hard. I know how to carry responsibility. I know how to keep going. What I’m learning now is how to build differently. That means: Community. Partnership. Boundaries. Discipline. Asking for help. Protecting my time. Letting other people bring their strengths into the room. And not believing that I have to do everything alone just because I know how. I don’t want the next chapter of my life to be built only on survival. I want it to be built with intention. Maybe becoming the woman in my future is not about proving that I can carry more. Maybe it is about learning what I no longer have to carry by myself.
