After visiting the temple, I became curious to learn more about its history, traditions, and the stories associated with it. While gathering information, I was mesmerised by the many fascinating stories shared by people familiar with the temple’s history. 🙏 Special Highlights of Veera Vittala Temple: The main deity of the temple is Lord Veera Vittala, with Jaya and Vijaya standing on either side of the main deity. The sacred Garbhagudi of Kote Shri Mukhyaprana Devaru, which devotees believe is a place to seek solutions to their problems. According to local beliefs and stories, even other temples approach Kote Shri Mukhyaprana Devaru to seek solutions to various issues. The temple also has a Devi Garbhagudi and two Mukhyaprana Garbhagudis — one inside and another outside the temple. According to information shared by people familiar with the temple, the last Jeernoddhara (renovation) took place in 2009, and the temple is believed to have a history spanning around 75 years or more. This temple holds many years of history, faith, and spiritual significance, with several interesting stories waiting to be explored. 🙏✨ 🌸 Sharada Prathistapane to Visarjane – 2026 Sharada Matha is installed on Lalita Panchami and worshipped with devotion until Vijayadashami, when the Visarjane ceremony takes place. In this video, you can witness devotees carrying Sharada Matha on their shoulders, dancing with devotion in front of the Goddess, and participating in the beautiful procession.
