🪷 17TH KARMAPA ARRIVES IN BHUTAN FOR HISTORIC 108 SACRED STUPAS CEREMONY The 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, arrived in Bhutan on Friday to participate in the raising and consecration of 108 sacred Buddhist stupas at Gelephu Mindfulness City. The four-day spiritual gathering, scheduled from November 1 to 4, will bring together Buddhist leaders, monks and devotees from around the world. Under Project 108, the sacred stupas, each approximately 15 metres tall, will be constructed along the Mau Chhu river corridor. All 108 structures are scheduled to be raised simultaneously on November 1.
