Handpan in the Evening Mist | 30 Minutes in Nordic Nature

Half an hour of uninterrupted handpan recorded in an open field in western Sweden as evening mist slowly rolled across the landscape. Captured at 22:15, after sunset, this session follows the last warm colours of the sky as they gradually fade into the Nordic summer night. Gentle birdsong, distant nature sounds, and the quiet presence of the mist became part of this spontaneous improvisation, performed entirely in real time. A few minutes into the session, you may also hear the distinctive bark of a roe deer somewhere beyond the mist. No cuts, loops, or added ambience. Just nature and improvisation. Created for evening wind-downs, reading, meditation, sleep, or simply sitting with the last light of the day. Handpanorama is dedicated to ambient handpan improvisations and natural soundscapes recorded in Scandinavian nature. With these recordings I aim to capture the purity of nature and its ever-present sanctuary away from the noise and speed of everyday life. P.S. The mist wasn't the only thing filling the field that evening. Thankfully, a mosquito head net made the Swedish "knotts" just bearable enough to finish the session.
