Sept. 2026 Community Food Projects CoP- Youth Leadership

In our September 2026 Community Food Projects Community of Practice (CoP), we heard from Grace Sliwoski of the Regional Environmental Council (REC) in Worcester, MA.Grace shared insights into the work of building meaningful youth leadership through REC’s YouthGROW program, which combines urban agriculture, youth development, and employment opportunities. Her presentation highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for young people to develop their leadership skills and take an active role in their communities.
