Thousands of people gathered in Rayagada, Odisha, to bid an emotional farewell to Yalla Konda Babu, a respected social worker, BJP State Special Invitee Member and President of the Rayagada Truck Owners Association. Political leaders, social workers, party workers and members of the public paid their last respects to Konda Babu. Among those present were district BJP leaders and workers, senior political leaders, Minister Nityananda Gond, Rayagada MLA Appalaswamy Kandraka, MP Saptagiri Ulaka, former MLA Jhina Hikaka and several other dignitaries. More than 6,000 people reportedly participated in his final procession, giving him a tearful farewell. After traditional rituals were completed, the funeral procession moved through Maa Majhighariani Mandap at Raniguda Farm, BJP Office on Ring Road, Truck Union Office and major roads of the city before reaching Seriguda Cremation Ground. The atmosphere became deeply emotional as thousands raised slogans in memory of Konda Babu. During the final rites, people were seen bidding farewell with tears in their eyes. According to local residents, Konda Babu was known as a people's leader who worked beyond political boundaries and helped people from all sections of society.
