HEAVY RAINY DAY IN THE UK 🌧️ | Decluttering, Cooking & Islamic Reminder 🤍 Welcome back to another HEAVY RAINY DAY IN THE UK vlog. 🤍 Today the UK had some very heavy rain, so most of our day was spent at home. We started the morning with honey and lemon water, followed by leftover teriyaki chicken and Chinese rice because it was simply too delicious! 😋 I then spent some time organising my clothes and changing over some of my seasonal outfits. I put away some of my summer lawn suits, took out clothes suitable for the current weather and also started preparing my anniversary dresses for October. ❤️ When the rain became lighter, the kids went outside to play and found a huge slug that they wanted to keep as a little pet! 😂 Later, I made fried chicken pieces with corn strips, washed some clothes by hand, ironed everything and organised the clothes. When my husband came home, he brought some chicken with him, which I marinated so I could grill it for him the next morning. During this HEAVY RAINY DAY IN THE UK, I also shared a beautiful reminder from the Qur’an about rain being a mercy from Allah, along with the dua our Prophet ﷺ would make for beneficial rain: Allahumma sayyiban nafi'an 🤲🏻 “O Allah, make it beneficial rain.” Sometimes rainy and gloomy days can affect our mood, but they can also remind us of Allah’s mercy and the blessings around us. May Allah make this rain beneficial for everyone and fill our homes, families and rizq with barakah.
