Oasis - Live in Cardiff (23rd October 2008)

Location: Cardiff International Arena, Cardiff, Wales Source: Audience Recording Tonight the band play the first of two nights in Cardiff this time round, with Noel even hinting at the fact that they'll be playing the Millennium Stadium the next year, which happened in June of 2009. This recording is from the same taper as my previous upload, who also taped Wembley this year. This gig is another great gig from this point in the tour, about the same as the last few gigs I've uploaded. We've got a good version of Songbird and Rock 'n' Roll Star here, with Noel also performing good renditions of The Masterplan and Falling Down, the latter he seems to be a huge fan of at this point. I believe he later goes on to say that it was the best thing that he wrote since the 90s. We'll be moving on to November and December after this gig, skipping the remaining shows of this UK leg this time around.
