🚨 New Chatting with Chat Episode 🚨
My mom is an anesthesiologist, and growing up, she always told me the most important person in the room is the nurse.
My conversation with Dr. @Olga Kagan reminded me why.
From her work with @Mount Sinai’s World Trade Center Worker and Volunteer Monitoring Program to founding the @Food Allergy Nursing Association, Dr. Kagan’s career offers two important lessons:
• Complex care requires teams that stay involved as needs change.
• Nurses should help shape solutions before gaps become accepted practice.
That is also why nurses are part of how we build at @Care+Wear. Their experience helps us understand how a product will function in real care settings and how access, comfort, and clinical workflows can be improved.
Thank you to Dr. Kagan for sharing the experiences that have shaped her work and her perspective on what better care requires.
Watch the full conversation and read the latest Chatting with Chat newsletter to hear Dr. Kagan’s perspective on continuity in complex care, nursing informatics, and what happens when nurses are given a larger role in shaping healthcare solutions.
Where is healthcare still treating frontline knowledge as feedback instead of leadership?
