Starting Boat Fishing – One Boom to Rule Them All

When people start boat fishing, it is often with inherited tackle and sometimes with inherited ideas, some of which are good and some, let’s say, not so much. When I started, I used all sorts of rigs but gradually, over time, simplified everything down to a single quick change boom and a small variety of traces.
