Him We Proclaim

Sermon Text: Colossians 1:28 Speaker: Pastor Luke Herche As we gather together to worship each week, the single longest element of our service is the sermon. Without it, we could get out of church a good 30 minutes earlier. Not to mention, preaching is seen by many as a tedious, moralistic, and condescending way to tell people what to do. So why, oh why, do we have a sermon? Continuing in a sermon series on our weekly Worship Service, Pastor Luke Herche comes to the sermon on the sermon. Listen as Pastor Luke preaches on Colossians 1:28, looking at the author of preaching, the act of preaching, the agenda of preaching, and the audience of preaching. Part of a sermon series: Rhythms of Grace From Sunday Worship, August 2, 2026. ------------------------------- allsoulspca.org All Souls (Urbana, IL) is a part of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), a Christian, Reformed denomination with historic and theological roots in the Protestant Reformation.
