Himinrún — The Tree Remembers

“The Tree Remembers” closes Himinrún’s The Ninefold Ash with a quiet reflection on renewal after destruction. The surviving life and changed world draw on renewal imagery in Völuspá and Vafþrúðnismál; “the tree remembers” is a creative metaphor, not a claim that an Eddic source gives Yggdrasill memory or speech. Part of Himinrún’s The Ninefold Ash. Vocals: Sigrún Huld. Music, artwork, and static video: Himinrún.
