🖌️ ¿Qué vamos a practicar? #Acuarela #Watercolor #PintarConAcuarela SUBSCRIBETE A MI CANAL AQUÍ: https://bit.ly/4cOUV6r Si estás interesado en mis CLASES ONLINE EN ESPAÑOL, escríbeme a camaralopez@yahoo.es SÍGUEME EN INSTAGRAM: @acuarelasluiscamara Gracias por ver el video y suscribirte al canal --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What if you didn’t have to paint every single detail to create a great portrait? 🎨🐕 In this video, we’ll paint a portrait of a Jack Russell Terrier using watercolors, focusing on capturing the animal’s expression and character with minimal tools: just two colors, a brush, and a palette knife. The goal is to simplify—working with loose washes, making the most of the white paper, and combining brushstrokes and textures without getting bogged down in details. After all, suggesting a form is often far more compelling than trying to depict everything. This is a gestural watercolor exercise designed to help you experiment, loosen up, and discover how to create an expressive portrait without overcomplicating things. 🖌️ What will we be practicing? Simplifying shapes and avoiding excessive detail. Suggesting volume and expression through washes. Utilizing the white space of the paper. Experimenting with textures created by a palette knife. Working with a limited, two-color palette. If you enjoy watercolor painting and want to develop a freer, more fluid style, I invite you to join me for this exercise. Do you tend to paint every single detail, or do you find it easy to leave parts of your work unfinished?
