Cast All Your Care Upon Him | I Am Heavenbound

Cast All Your Care Upon Him | I Am Heavenbound “Cast All Your Care Upon Him” by I Am Heavenbound is a Christian gospel song of comfort and encouragement, pointing weary hearts to the loving care of Jesus Christ. When worry grows heavy, grief feels overwhelming, or tomorrow seems uncertain, God invites us to bring every burden to Him. The message rests upon this precious promise from the King James Bible: “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7, KJV What a tender reason to trust the Lord: He cares for you. Your troubles are not hidden from Him. He knows the concerns you struggle to explain, the tears you shed in private, and the prayers you can scarcely put into words. You do not have to make yourself strong before coming to Him. You can come with an honest, weary heart and place your cares in His hands. Whether you are concerned about your family, facing illness, mourning someone you love, or struggling with fear and loneliness, this song invites you to pause and turn toward the Savior. Casting our care upon Him means entrusting our burdens to His wisdom, His timing, and His faithful love. We may not know how every situation will unfold, but we can trust the One who hears our prayers. Jesus gives this invitation: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” — Matthew 11:28–30, KJV The music video portrays Jesus comforting a praying man against a peaceful sunset landscape. That scene illustrates the song’s invitation to bring our burdens to the Lord and rest in His care. God’s Word also reminds us: “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” — Psalm 55:22, KJV “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:6–7, KJV Our prayer is that this song will encourage you to draw near to the Lord, speak honestly to Him, and find comfort in His promises. Whatever weighs upon your heart today, bring it to Jesus. He careth for you. If this song encourages you, please share it with someone carrying a heavy burden.
