Is God Tired of Me? | Psalm 103 Morning Prayer (Day 6 of 7)

Welcome to day six of 7 Mornings in the Psalms. Many of us carry a quiet fear: "I keep falling in the same place. I have asked God to forgive me so many times. Surely He must be tired of me by now." Psalm 103 answers that fear. David begins by speaking to his own soul: "Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits." God forgives, heals, redeems your life from the pit, crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, and renews your youth like the eagle's. He is "slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love," and He removes our sins "as far as the east is from the west." Like a father with a child learning to walk, "he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust." Our days are like grass, but His love is from everlasting to everlasting. Tomorrow morning, our final day: Psalm 16, "In your presence there is fullness of joy."
