The Soul of America: The People We Forget

Who is the real soul of America? I believe it’s the everyday people who get up each morning, work hard, raise their families, and do whatever it takes to survive. My grandmother cleaned hotel rooms in Sedona, Arizona. My mother was a waitress and a single mom, raising our family on wages and tips that were often barely enough. I didn’t just witness that struggle. I lived it. This video is dedicated to the single mothers, devoted fathers, grandparents, union and nonunion workers, truck drivers, warehouse employees, hotel housekeepers, restaurant workers, tradespeople, and millions of hardworking Americans who keep this country moving. These are the people who deserve to be seen, heard, respected, and appreciated. This isn’t about Republicans or Democrats. It’s not about politics, wealth, or power. It’s about the dignity of work, the sacrifices families make, and the people who truly represent the soul of America. I want Bob’s Two Cents to be a place where everyday Americans can share their experiences, their struggles, their successes, and their perspectives without being divided by politics.
