He Murdered 16 People in 1 Hour (Then Called for His Mom)

On a summer morning in 1987, a quiet Berkshire town became the stage for one of the deadliest mass shootings on British soil. Michael Ryan was a local outsider, raised in an environment where his every whim was indulged and his dark fixations were ignored. As feelings of resentment built up behind closed doors, a childhood fascination with weapons transformed into a deadly reality. When he armed himself with high-powered semi-automatic rifles and headed into the local woods, a horrifying chain of events was set in motion. Moving from the trees to the streets of his own neighborhood, he targeted strangers, neighbors, and even the mother who had protected him his entire life. Criminologists and experts break down the family dynamic, the warning signs left unchecked, and the psychological unraveling of a man who turned his hometown into a nightmare before bringing his own life to an end. 00:00:00 Introduction 00:01:45 Childhood and Mother's Indulgence 00:07:30 Early Warning Signs and Air Rifle Incidents 00:11:15 Military Fantasies and Amassing the Arsenal 00:17:30 The Savernake Forest Attack 00:20:15 House Fire and Street Shooting Spree 00:22:45 Confrontation and Murder of Dorothy Ryan 00:25:30 Standoff at the School and Final Moments Absolute Crime is your go-to channel for the best crime documentaries.
