Psalm 103: After a Sleepless Night | Prayer for Rest & Mercy | Morning Prayer

You didn't sleep well last night, and the day still needs you to show up. This prayer doesn't ask for a stronger you — it offers you God's mercy for exactly the day you actually have. This morning prayer is for anyone who counted the hours instead of sleeping through them — the ones lying awake with worry, a restless body, a crying baby, a late shift, or grief that keeps the other side of the bed cold. Rooted in Psalm 103:13-14, it walks through three simple steps: naming the truth of the night instead of pretending it away, trusting God as your portion for today and not the whole week, and asking Him to go ahead of you into the hours you haven't met yet. It ends by inviting you to speak your own honest words out loud before you walk out the door.
