Your hands have already been busy this morning, and most of what they do will never be counted.
This prayer blesses the ordinary work of your hands — even the parts too small to mention.
This morning prayer is for every pair of hands doing quiet, uncounted work today: the ones typing at a desk, the ones changing a bandage, the ones folding laundry for the third time, and the ones sitting still because the job ended, was never found, or gave way to illness or retirement. Rooted in Colossians 3:23-24 and the story of Tabitha in Acts 9, it asks God to bless the small things nobody applauds — the dishes, the paperwork, the phone call, the waiting. If your hands feel unseen this morning, this prayer is for them too.
