2026 10 02 Hobart Data Center Update

The City of Hobart will be the home of a new Data Center for Amazon. This controversial project has polarized the city, and surrounding towns, townships, and cities, due to the pro's and con's that come with a data center. Bird's Eye View Aerial Images plans to visit the site frequently during construction, catching aerial images and video to show the construction process to the people of Hobart and its surrounding communities. This week, there is a new entrance at Colorado St under construction, asphalt in the new lot by Colorado St. and the new entrance on 61st, lots of concrete pads in the area of the generation station, and the drainage areas are well defined due to all of the recent rain. Speaking of rain, there is mud. Tons of mud. And proof that there are, in fact, efforts to keep dirt from reaching the streets. Bird's Eye View is in no way indicating opinion in favor of nor against the construction of this project, nor is it associated with it. #hobart #indiana #datacenter #datacenters #birdeyeview #drone #dronevideo #construction #hobartdatacenter #amazon #amazondatacenter
