MKaptured: London's Most Creative Street Photographer

MKAPTURED is the work of Mike, a London-based photographer known for creative street&urban photography, really anything from architecture, cityscapes, long exposures, and street scenes with a fine-art edge to it. He came to photography after years as a graphic designer (including freelance work for music labels), which shows in the way he builds frames, symmetry, leading lines, reflections, and a very controlled look. He started shooting more seriously around 2021 and built a big following pretty quickly on Instagram (@mkaptured.uk). He’s won multiple awards, including Photographer of the Year with The Society of Photographers. His photos of London often look cinematic with deep tones, strong contrast, landmarks like St Paul’s, Tower Bridge, and the South Bank treated more like creative graphic compositions and not tourist shots. He works in both color and black and white, and he’s big on low light and long exposure. The editing is part of the style: polished, atmospheric, and consistent.
