A Rainy Night Alone in My Restored Forest Shelter

On a rainy day, I return deep into the forest to a small shelter I rebuilt from ruins last year. What was once an abandoned and forgotten place has now become a simple refuge for travelers—a dry and warm shelter where someone can stop, rest, and spend the night far away from civilization. Today I came back to take care of it. I clean the inside, prepare fresh firewood, check everything after my absence, and bring back the warmth and comfort I worked so hard to create. As evening settles over the wet forest, I light the stove and listen to the rain falling on the roof. Outside there is only darkness, trees, and the sound of water. Inside, the fire keeps the shelter warm and peaceful.
