2024 CPKC holiday train chase. *Newtown,MO to KCMO*

Over Thanksgiving and the first day of the Holiday season, we chased the CPKC Holiday train from Newtown,MO south into Kansas city,MO, followed by seeing it arrive at KC union station before finally rolling through Santa Fe Junction on the way back to Knoche. The day was great with very little traffic and barely anyone out to see the train until late in the day, we even got a surprise heritage unit catch as we pulled up to our starting point with CP 7012 pulling into the hole per it's Track warrant to wait on the southbound Holiday train. Please note, this video was fraught with issues both in and out of my control. to start i had to hand film the Thanksgiving day chase as we forgot the tripod! whoops. on the 30th a somewhat surprise snow squall brought up to 5 inches onto Kansas City just hours before the display leading the KCT to have many switches go in-op due to ice and snow fowling them. they spent nearly 30 minutes chipping ice to just back into the display track which we did not see happen.
