Me and Mr Wolf | Leafpool and Hawkfrost PMV/AMV

Wow! This took awhile to work on… I don’t remember when I started the project, it’s been a couple months, but I’m so glad to have it finished! I was trying a lot of new things in terms of frame by frame animation, tweening, and editing/transitions. It was really fun! I love drawing oriental based cats which is what I inspired Hawkfrost’s design on, but surprisingly had an easier time getting Leafpool’s design done when it came to frame by frame animation and consistency! Regardless, it was an exciting experience and im so happy to have this finished! This mini AMV/PMV follows an AU of Leafpool and Hawkfrost. Instead of Leafpool falling in love and having Crowfeather’s kits, she has Hawkfrost’s instead. I didn’t draw this, but I imagine instead of trying to take Firestar’s life, he tries to take Mistyfoot’s instead (since it would be pretty bad if he tried to take his girlfriend’s dad’s life lol), and he doesn’t admire/associate with Tigerstar as much as he did in the books. He still does train in the Dark Forest, but rather than create TigerClan and become dictator in his father’s spirit he’s doing it for himself and his own greatness and to have Leafpool close with him where it isn’t considered breaking the code. He still enjoys the power, but he frames it in a better way where if the Clans were one they could be together and there would be peace. Anywho! Hawkfrost dies while Leafpool is pregnant with the three and never ends up as deputy/leader. He goes to the Dark Forest where he feels remorse for his actions. Lionblaze still trains in the Dark Forest, but rather than manipulate him, Hawkfrost tries to push him away from Tigerstar’s teachings and show him a better path. Jayfeather still trains as a medicine cat, but Hollyleaf is apprenticed to Ashfur which I think is a better dynamic considering what happens in the future… The fire scene still happens, Squirrelflight still took in the three and Leafpool is exposed to be their real mother. Yellowfang shows the three who their real father is and Hollyleaf exposes Leafpool at s Gathering where Hawkfrost is resigned to sit and watch as a ghost and can’t intervene. Hollyleaf threatens Leafpool with the deathberries and when she runs away, Hawkfrost is able to appear to Leafpool once more… and that’s where the animation ends!
