Our Story in Motion

Friday evening, we had the immense pleasure of hosting our 2025 Partner Appreciation Event — a moment filled with emotion, pride, and genuine connection. Surrounded by our families, teammates, EPFL faculty and staff, and trusted partners, we welcomed between 150 and 200 guests to celebrate this adventure together. To mark the occasion, we unveiled a short film — in French — retracing the history of Swiss Solar Boat, from its humble beginnings in 2019 (and even earlier, with the HydroContest in 2014), to the development of the REF, our most ambitious prototype to date.
