Psychiatrist Dr. Alia Goodheart - Full Testimony - MA v. Lindsay Clancy

Psychiatrist Dr. Alia Goodheart took the stand to testify about her interactions with Lindsay Clancy during her stay in an inpatient psychiatric unit in January 2023. Goodheart said she and other doctors did not observe signs of psychosis during their initial interactions with Clancy and testified that she was being weaned off Seroquel and reported improved sleep before checking out. Clancy is accused of killing her three young children inside the family’s home before attempting to take her own life, while her defense argues she was suffering from severe postpartum mental illness at the time.
