FL BCE47047 on Bus Route 290

In this video, I take a ride on the 290 Number Plate LG71DVV Fleet Number BCE47047 down to Staines. I haven't covered this route since the demonstrator Enviro400EV was being trialled on it. It's a really nice and fast route tbf. Here, I take it yet again but on a BYD Enviro400EV. Even though these may be less exciting and are common on the route, they're still pretty fun to ride I'd say and they suit the route. I think the newer E400EVs are definitely more sleek. This bus did have one thing about it that was kinda jarring, though. It was squeaking like a mouse the whole time bro, not sure what parts are loose but something's definitely up. I find BYD E400EVs are prone to this in general but it was a bit out of control here. Elsewhere, ride was calm and relaxing. Got to Staines just in time to catch an ADE on the 203, which was my next route to get. Route 290 runs between Twickenham and Staines. The route is run out of First London's Fulwell (FW) garage and is allocated Enviro200EVs only, but MMC diesels and decked workings regularly stray en route. © 2026 Jayden Emmanuel.
