Reverse Shoulder Replacement Recovery Day 39 | Resistance Bands & New Gadget.
💙 Day 39 of my reverse shoulder replacement recovery journey – and I'm trying something new!
I'm now 39 days post-op and my physiotherapy programme is progressing into more exercises designed to get the arm and shoulder working, improve movement and gradually rebuild strength.
In today's video I'm introducing a new little mini exercise bike, which can be used with both the hands and feet. I'm using it as another way of getting some gentle movement into my recovering shoulder and arm.
I'm also continuing with my resistance band exercises, which are now becoming an important part of my rehabilitation as I work on getting the muscles around my new shoulder stronger.
In this video I'll show you:

📈 How my shoulder recovery is progressing at Day 39
After years of shoulder problems, rotator cuff tears and severe arthritis, it's amazing to finally be at the stage where I'm concentrating on movement, strength and getting back to using my arm normally again.
There's still plenty of recovery ahead, and I'm taking things steadily rather than rushing things.
⚠️ Important: These are exercises and equipment I'm using as part of my own rehabilitation. Everyone's reverse shoulder replacement recovery is different, so always follow the instructions and exercises given to you by your own surgeon or physiotherapist.
If you're recovering from a reverse shoulder replacement, or you're considering having one, hopefully following my journey will give you an honest look at what recovery can be like.
Day 39... onwards and upwards! 💙💪
