Two Convoys of four 66s at Carlisle followed by a pair of Class 66s heading south 07 September 2026

Monday 7th September 2026 at Carlisle. First at Etterby then at the Citadel. Monday seems to be the day locos head back to base after use on weekend engineering works. DB Cargo had sent a loco up from Arpley depot in the morning to retrieve three from Carlisle Yard and had another hitch a ride to BAsford Hall on the Engineer's train. That train also included a pair of Heavy Haul Rail 66s as well as those odd looking wagons for carrying preassembled point and crossing components and a crane. We briefly see the logs and the Tesco trains as well as a few passenger workings. The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive.
