Qaida Tamheed-ul-Quran – Lesson No. 7
Topic: Noon Sakinah and Tanween – Takhti No. 15
In Lesson No. 7 of Qaida Tamheed-ul-Quran, we study the rules of Noon Sakinah and Tanween in detail. First, we learn the four types of Noon: Noon Mutaharrik, Noon Mushaddad, Noon Sakinah, and Noon Tanween.
After that, we discuss the four important rules of Noon Sakinah and Tanween:
1. Izhar Halqi: When any of the six throat letters occurs after Noon Sakinah or Tanween, Izhar Halqi is applied.
2. Idgham: When one of the Idgham letters occurs after Noon Sakinah or Tanween, the rule of Idgham is applied.
3. Iqlab: When the letter Baa (ب) occurs after Noon Sakinah or Tanween, the sound of Noon changes into a Meem sound.
4. Ikhfa Haqiqi: When one of the remaining fifteen letters occurs after Noon Sakinah or Tanween, the rule of Ikhfa Haqiqi is applied.
This lesson explains these rules with their relevant letters and correct pronunciation, helping students understand how to apply the rules while reciting the Holy Quran.
Watch the complete video carefully, learn the rules, and practise the examples repeatedly to improve your Tajweed and Quranic recitation.
May Allah grant us the ability to recite the Holy Quran correctly and beautifully. Ameen.
