I Was the Minority at Running Races… Until Today

Representation isn't just about race. Four years of running, and for the first time, I attended a race where most runners looked like me. I went to Black to the Trails, hosted by Black Trail Runners, just to film the event. But I left thinking about something much bigger: the power of representation in running. Representation isn't just about race. It's about gender, body image, age, ability and pace. It's about seeing someone like you and knowing you belong. In this video, I explore diversity in running, body confidence, women in sport and the incredible allies making our running community more inclusive.
