Some practices ask how much you can do. This one asks how long you can stay with a thing — long enough to feel it change shape under your hands.
This is a subtle body exploration of the shoulder girdle and the deep core, threaded through a standing sequence that keeps asking for precision rather than intensity. You'll retract the scapula and hold that integration through lunges and crescent, open the wrists and forearms in ways most practices skip entirely, and find the lower abdominal wall through slow, deliberate extensions rather than effort. The posterior chain lengthens across repeated folds and half lifts; the spine finds its rotation in standing twists and, eventually, in the long reclined unwinding at the end.
Designed as an at-home practice for introverts, this class rewards refinement. Every shape here is built rather than arrived at — foundation first, then structure, then breath, and the craftsmanship is in what you notice while you wait.
Woven through the movement is the story of a man at a crowded market, an accusation he was never given the chance to answer, and a cave with a mallet, a chisel, and a task that may not be finishable. It sits somewhere near the question of how the same labor can confine us or set us loose, depending entirely on what we bring to it.
If you practice alone and want depth over volume, this space was made for you. Breathe fully, take your time, and if it resonates, subscribe and keep exploring your inner landscape with us.
