This video contains three matches I had with the recently buffed LV1 Gundam Mk-IV on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 600-650 cost general with very high melee damage, good mid-range burst damage, the ability to switch at will between LV1 Fake Beacon/LV1 Stealth, good stagger output and long melee reach. It suffers from having no Damage Control despite being large, and from the INCOM not being completely reliable, but it is otherwise well balanced. I hope that you enjoy watching!
This suit was recently buffed with 20000/22000 HP depending on suit level, LV3 Leg Buffer, LV1 Offence System, LV1 Maneuver Armor, 2500 beam rifle power (2900 at 650 cost), 12 seconds beam rifle reload time, 2850 beam saber power (3100 at 650 cost), 200% downswing modifier, 1300x3 INCOM power (1500x3 at 650 cost), 8 seconds INCOM overheat time, 50%x3 INCOM stagger power, 2300 beam cannon power (2600 at 650 cost), 2500x2 charged beam cannon power (2900x2 at 650 cost), 50% beam cannon heat, 40%x2 charged beam cannon heat, 0.8 seconds beam cannon cooldown time, 0.5 seconds beam cannon swap time, 1.5 seconds beam cannon focusing time, 65%x2 stagger value for the charged beam cannon alongside 25 seconds overheat time for the head sensor unit.
Its primary weapon is a beam rifle with 2500 power, 6 ammo, 5 seconds cooldown, 12 seconds reload, 0.77 seconds swap time, 350m range and 10% stagger value. This has high power and short cooldown time for an instant stagger.
Its primary melee weapon is a hyper beam saber with 2850 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, 60% combo modifier and 200% downswing modifier. This has excellent range and damage but the downswing is a little bit slow. It is still fast enough to be confirmed off of a stun though, and the long range means that you can surprise enemies with it.
Its first sub weapon is an INCOM beam cannon with 1300x3 power, 50%x3 heat, 300m range, 8 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time and 50%x3 stagger value. This has high power and stagger value, but it is not fully reliable as a stagger on its own. It pairs well with the beam cannon.
Its second sub weapon is a beam cannon with 2300 (2500x2) power, 50% (40%x2) heat, 350m range, 0.8 seconds cooldown, 17 seconds overheat time, 0.5 seconds swap time, 1.5 seconds focus time and 65% (65%x2) stagger value. This has very high power, high stagger value and short cooldown time. The charged shot instantly staggers.
Its third sub weapon is a head sensor unit with 100% heat, 300m range and 25 seconds overheat time. This sends out an AoE ping that jams the enemies radar for 5 seconds, but it does not spot them. This is useful for temporarily blinding the enemy before going in for your attack. Despite not spotting enemies, it technically deals 0 damage to them, meaning that you will see their HP bar appear, making it useful for identifying stealth suits too.
The LV1 Gundam MKIV has 20,000 HP, 16 ballistic resist, 28 beam resist and 22 melee resist. It has above average durability, especially since it has LV3 Leg Buffer and a 10,000 HP shield, but it isn't as tanky as some other large generals like the Dreissen. It has LV1 Maneuver Armor, LV1 Offence System and LV1 Emergency Evasion for defensive skills.
In terms of mobility it has 135 (138 including ground affinity) hover speed, 220 boost speed, 65 thrust and 69 (75 including ground affinity) turning speed. This is pretty nice mobility for 600 cost but it is nothing really special either. It has LV2 Forced Injector and Flight Control as is standard.
It also has LV1 Special Infiltration Device, LV2 Power Accelerator and LV1 Observational Data Link.
In conclusion, I feel that these buffs have made this suit skyrocket from being useless into being one of the stronger options available at cost. Its lack of Damage Control makes it mediocre if used as a pure frontliner, but its stealth abilities combined with good stagger game and high melee power gives it very high potential when used correctly. It can harass the enemy from where they least expect it, dishing out staggers and dealing huge damage to unaware opponents. It isn't too difficult to use, so I can definitely recommend it. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
