Work in hand with Yakari 🐴 Our third time [Groundwork]

It's been a while but finally something to upload! Also a vlog is coming up I recorded a while ago. Work, school & the horses ask a lot of time from me. Also my Instagram blew up which also takes a lot of time since I want to answer every question I get. Absolutely love the community and the support I get from there. Making videos is my passion besides photography and the horses. But making videos was always super frustrating for me because it never looked how it did in my head. So it wasn't "good enough" for me to upload. When I film others I can focus on every single detail but when I film myself with the horses some things can be so hard and takes so much thing. So now I promised myself to not think about that again and just upload what I got. So here's the first video I shot randomly today while working with Yakari. This way of working is completely new for us (besides me being obsessed about working in hand for the last few months, I read so much about it). It's still figuring out things together and making mistakes. This was our third time working on it and Yakari is already making huge progress, me in the other hand is still struggling with the right position. I find trot easier to keep up with then a simple walk, also in the video my rhythm syncs with Yakari way better in trot then in walk. Hope you like this! AND I PROMISE, more coming soon. It just took me some (long..) time. - Owner of five horses, The lucky six! Eastern, Ian, Topshot, Dora, Jacks & Yakari. You can call me Romy.
