My First Ultra-Marathon / The Heysen 60k

The big day has come and gone. On Saturday I tackled my first ever Ultra-Marathon, it was the 60K distance included in the Heysen 105. The Heysen trail stretches from the Flinders Ranges to Cape Jervis. It was a tough day out there, I survived with water, tailwind, and maurten energy gels. I went out a little too hard but managed to maintain my 4th place from start to finish.
