Secluded cabin near the beach at Seacliff, North Berwick

The Secret Cabin at Seacliff, North Berwick can be booked via the owner's own web site, or on AirBnB. I was really good to the cabin's owner. I even walked her unruly dog. I considerately let her know when I was setting off on the road home. But when I politely pointed out that the cabin is so damp that some of my equipment seized because of the water ingress, and that the cabin's lack of ventilation is an issue, specially when the sun is out, I did not get a reply or acknowledgement. Presumably because she got feedback she did not want to listen to. I did not intend to make this feedback public, but as this owner has acted in this fashion towards a really good and well meaning guest (me being respectful of people, their property and their local waste disposal foibles), I felt I should share this. One can see how excessive the overgrowth of creeping ivy is, in the unmanaged wooded area surrounding the cabin. It is not a stretch of the imagination that the ivy, as well as the weed overgrowth in the small yard, have taken hold in the electrical ducting in the cabin. Ventilation is a big problem. So is the water ingress in the electric near the floor. An inspection needs to be done (a genuine inspection) as a matter of urgency. At present the cabin is little more than a pretty garden shed.
