IT WAS A HEAVY WEEK | IKAPITONG LINGGONG BIYAHE

This was a really tough week. Ang daming nangyari! Deadlines, urgent projects, meetings, and then a retrenchment announcement that brought back memories I honestly didn’t want to revisit. I cried. I felt disoriented. I felt heavy. Pero kahit ganun, may mga bagay pa ring kailangang gawin. May presentation. May deadlines. May trabaho. So I tried to show up kahit hindi talaga okay. Thankfully, may mga maliliit na bagay na nagbigay ng konting gaan tulad ng birthday ng sister ko, new camera gear, working with our business partners, creating content, and even just having a quiet Saturday at home. Hindi naman nawala yung bigat. Pero somehow, nakatulong yung mga maliliit na bagay para malampasan yung araw-araw. Siguro yun lang muna ang takeaway ko this week: hindi lahat ng mahirap na linggo kailangang lagyan ng magandang ending o malaking lesson. Minsan, mabigat lang talaga. But work still had to go on. There were presentations to make, deadlines to meet, and projects that needed to move forward. So I tried to show up, even when I wasn’t feeling okay. There were also small moments that made the week a little lighter—celebrating my sister’s birthday, finally getting some new camera gear, working with our business partners, creating content, and having a quiet Saturday at home. Those things didn’t magically make everything better. But they helped me get through the days. And maybe that’s all I want to take from this week. Not every difficult week needs a silver lining or a big life lesson. Sometimes, a week is just heavy. And sometimes, getting through it is enough.
