**Sailing the East Coast of Crete** This week, we continue sailing along the east coast of Crete and arrive in the charming fishing village of **Elounda**, located on the beautiful Gulf of Mirabello. Just at the entrance to the bay lies the fascinating island of **Spinalonga**, better known as the “leper island”, with its remarkable and moving history. From Elounda, we head to **Agios Nikolaos**, where an ancient legend tells the story of a mysterious bottomless well. We also explore a picturesque mountain village and visit a local olive oil factory, discovering more about one of the products that is so deeply connected to life in Crete. Of course, there is plenty of time for relaxation too: swimming, diving, enjoying the sunshine… but above all, enjoying each other’s company.
