Blackmoor to Dungeons. How it all began.

In 1972 I saw my first ever dedicated Fantasy figures. I instantly saw how I could fit them into my own Fantasy world created in 1966. During that same year Gary Gygax met Dave Arneson to play Blackmoor. That game spawned Greyhawk and then Dungeons and Dragons. I found d and d 5 years later and it slipped naturally into the world that I had created. What's your story?
