This is essentially the same as my original finale upload, but with a non-copyright Emotional Orchestral version of "Dearly Beloved" (by Rusty Productions) instead of the copyrighted "Simple and Clean", in case it ever gets taken down. And tbh? It goes hard here. Much more emotional IMO. Check out Rusty Productions for more:    • KINGDOM HEARTS — Dearly Beloved | Emotiona...   Anyway, in this final episode we at-last defeat Ansem and restore the worlds that had been swallowed by the Realm of Darkness, and though that sounds triumphant, I'm... sad. Not only is the ending for Riku utterly heartbreaking, with him passing Kairi on to Sora (giving up on his feelings for her, not caring who keeps her safe so long as she's taken care of) as he's locked in the Realm of Darkness for what he believes is if forever, but also just... When I started this playthrough about 2 months ago, I knew this moment would come eventually, but that seemed so far away. I'm a slow methodical player, so I never thought about what I'd do when I got to the end. Now that I'm here, I'm sad to see it go. It's strange, because I'm no stranger to the story. I've seen it multiple times, but it feels... different now, with me at the helm of this particular journey. It feels more final. And yet, at the same time... I'm probably not gonna be done with this game. Not yet. I've no-hit every superboss, which is already (as far as I know) something that's not been recorded done in any single playthrough (or in general, aside from one person I think), but there's been other bosses earlier on that I could do better with the experience I have now. There's also Proud Mode, and potentially the Platinum Trophy. The gummi missions can die in a fire, though. I'd rather no-hit Sephiroth all over again than do all those. Hell I'd rather give World of Chaos an honest no-hit attempt, and that's torture. I didn't bother trying to do that here. I was too hype on the moment. Plus I'd just no-hit Ansem 1, Darkside, and Ansem 2 back-to-back-to-back on my first try, so I couldn't complain. I wanted this to be meaningful. I wanted to remember this. That's why I not only decided to cap things off by using One-Winged Angel (which I'd just gotten from Sephiroth almost just before doing this final gauntlet, even though the -2 MP penalty actively made the fights harder), but I made sure to make use out of Trinity Limit to obliterate one phase of the fight, as well as cap things off by summoning Tinkerbell for the first serious moment. Like I said, I was gonna make sure every summon got to shine at least once in a boss fight. Tinkerbell being used for the final phase of the final boss fight in the game just felt right. And it technically didn't break my "No Cure/Potions" rule. Not like her healing was needed. Was just nice to end it with full HP. Poor Goofy could have used it though lol. Never said I wouldn't Curaga my party members. This has been a blast of a journey. I know this isn't super popular on my channel. While Minecraft Dungeons doesn't even make up 10% of my total videos, probably it's what most of my subscribers know me for. But while it's fun, at heart these are the kinds of games I love the most, the compelling, heart-warming/wrenching, tear-jerking RPGs that really challenge me and offer an immersive expression of skill through all the combat options. Just like NieR Automata, which is still my favorite game, but Kingdom Hearts as a series, and especially this game, is definitely in my top 5. And now that it's done, aside from other projects (and potentially aiming to obtain 99 of everything that can be obtained in this game), next I'll be moving on to Re: Chain of Memories, which was the first console Kingdom Hearts I played over a decade ago. Will I record and upload for it? Maybe. Maybe not. It's mostly just out of personal love for these games. If it were for views I'd just stick with Minecraft Dungeons even though my heart wouldn't be in it like it used to be. When I record and upload for a game, it's for a game I'm REALLY into, because when I'm really into a game, I go deep in learning its ins and outs and being the best I can be. It's to a quite-literally autistic level. Anyone surprised? That's why I seem to play like a challenge runner. I like to really learn how to get the most out of a game's systems, and challenging myself is the best way to do that. It's also why I don't often do level restrictions, because that also restricts what I can do in a game, and that defeats the purpose of exploring all the systems and having maximum expression. In this game, most abilities are tied to level, so staying level 1 locks you out of most actions. Not inherently my thing, but maybe one day. For now, if you stuck around this whole time and bothered to watch my videos from start to finish, and are bothering to read all the way to this, I thank you from the bottom of my Heart. Let yours be your guiding key, and I'll see you next time.
