I'm splitting my channel – here's why. If you've been around for a while, you'll know I post all sorts: beer reviews, holiday vlogs, DIY repairs, gaming with my son, and autism content. The problem? YouTube's algorithm doesn't know who to show it to. So I've made a decision while my channel is still in its fledgeling state. Introducing Sam The Geek Autism – a dedicated space for my ongoing journey discovering I'm autistic at 40. I've got 11 autism videos already, and I'll be re-releasing them one a week, every Friday, on the new channel – and continuing from there. This means the algorithm can finally learn exactly who to show it to, and more autistic people who actually need this content will find it. What does this mean for you? If you're here for the autism content: stay subscribed here – I'll still be an autistic creator making content about all sorts of things. But I'd also love you to subscribe to the new channel for the deep dive. If you're here for the beer reviews, holidays, or DIY: nothing changes. You won't see autism videos in your feed as often. You'll get exactly what you signed up for. Practical bits: The existing 11 autism videos will be unlisted from this channel – so they won't show up on my homepage – but if you've saved or liked them, they'll stay in your playlists. They'll be re-released weekly on the new channel starting now. New autism content will start around November. Same Sam. Same content.
