In this video, I’ll show you my first drawing for Inktober. This is Day 1 and the prompt word is ‘Apple’. I decided to draw an apple, but with a little bit of a monster twist. Inside the apple lives a small worm-like monster, that is waiting for a host. (Spoiler alert: The monster is inspired by the Aliens movies… You can probably guess what happens next.) I’ve also taken the opportunity to practice black lettering, which I would like to get better at. My handwriting and calligraphy aren’t as good as I would like them to be. When I draw my fantasy maps, I often add the text and labels afterwards in Photoshop, but it would be cool to be able to write it directly on the maps. – So this is a great opportunity for me to practice! See you tomorrow again! 🖌️🎨☕️ Cheers/ Tove ~ Thanks for watching!
