If you care about beauty from within and pay attention to what you eat, there’s another important question to consider: when you eat.
Nutrition has traditionally focused on what we eat and how we eat.
But research is revealing another important piece of the puzzle: meal timing.
Even when we eat the same food, the time of day can affect how our bodies absorb and metabolize it.
One of the keys is our circadian clock.
In this video, I’ll explain the relationship between meal timing and the body through chrono-nutrition, an emerging field of nutrition science, and BMAL1, one of the genes involved in regulating our circadian rhythms.
You’ll learn:
When during the day your body may be more or less likely to store fat
Why the same meal can be metabolized differently depending on when you eat it
A practical split-dinner strategy for days when you have to eat late
How to work with your circadian clock and enjoy food without unnecessary restriction
The goal isn’t simply to avoid the foods you love.
It’s to understand how your body works—and use when you eat as another tool for beauty and health from within.
Our bodies evolved around a natural rhythm: being active during the day and resting at night. In this video, we’ll also look at how that rhythm developed and how the science of chrono-nutrition can be applied to everyday life.
