Established as a county in the Yuan Dynasty, over seven centuries have accumulated a rich cultural heritage. After the city was relocated to Yankou Town in the 1950s, it experienced a renaissance. Today, high-rise buildings stand tall, morning markets are vibrant, and night markets are dazzling, with lights illuminating both banks of the Jialing River.
