Alice (Frances Reid) visits the Lockharts at the motel to see how they are doing, but Mimi (Farah Fath) is still totally humiliated and sure all of Salem knows they were living in a box down by the river. When Alice says Shawn (Jason Cook) and the other kids want to help, Mimi gets even more upset, but wise Alice reminds her the kids are doing this because they care about her. Nobody does it like Alice. Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), Belle (Kirsten Storms), Shawn, and Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) meet up at the Habitat for Humanity office and explain that they want to help their friend and her family build a home. Craig (Kevin Spirtas) confides in Nancy (Patrika Darbo) that he is worried about Alice and his future at the hospital. Nancy thinks they need to work on their image and at least appear saintly, even if it is all for show. When Craig mentions the Lockharts, Nancy has an idea: they can invite the family to move in with them. Sami (Alison Sweeney) is caught off guard when Austin (Austin Peck) drops by the hospital. He doesn’t think she should go to Chicago and wonders what her real agenda is, but Sami insists she has to go and covers. Later, she tells Brandon (Matt Cedeño) she hates lying to Austin, and Brandon tries to convince her that Austin isn’t the guy for her. Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) runs into Austin at the hospital and says he can’t find Nicole (Arianne Zucker), assuming her biopsy was just another lie. Austin suggests they ask at the desk, and sure enough, she did check in, but they soon learn she left the hospital with Eric (Jensen Ackles). After her biopsy, Nicole is told the results won’t take long. On her way out, she runs into Eric, who says they need to talk and takes her back to his place, where he shows her the raw footage from her old film. Nicole is horrified and falls apart as she watches. Eric comforts her and tells her none of this is her fault, and before they know it, they are kissing. Oh my.
