You Have To Find You Own Way To Peace

I am trying a sound bath for the first time, and it got me thinking about the different things we discover as we get older that bring us peace, joy, and a little more quiet into our lives. Some people from my past would probably call something like a sound bath "too New Age," but I've learned that I have to be thoughtful about my own spiritual journey and what brings me closer to peace and reflection. And there's another side of this conversation that I think is important: spiritual manipulation. We have to be careful about allowing other people to tell us what God is saying to us, what our path should look like, or what we're supposed to do with our lives. You can listen, consider, pray, and discern—but ultimately, your relationship with God is yours. Your path may not look like somebody else's path—and that's okay.
