Some class 91 / 225 action on 15/10/26 91101 ‘Flying Scotsman’ and DVT 82222 - seen at Wakefield Westgate and Leeds. 91111 ‘For The Fallen’ and DVT 82223 - seen at Leeds, Bradford Forster Square and Leeds again. 91124 - Seen at Leeds The pioneer Class 91 locomotive no 91101 (previously 91001) is still in use with LNER on the Intercity 225 workings. It is now named ‘Flying Scotsman’ are carries a stunning nameplate of this plus the famous ‘winged thistle’. 91101 is seen arriving into Wakefield Westgate on the evening of 15/10/26 with a train from Kings Cross to Leeds (1D20) with a rake of 7 mark 4 coaches and DVT 82222 on the rear. In its ‘remembrance’ poppy livery, LNER Intercity 225 / class 91 no 91111 ‘For The Fallen’ arrives into Leeds on the evening of 15/10/26 with 1D21 from Kings Cross to Bradford Forster Square. Class 82 DVT no 82223 is on the rear. I take this train from Leeds to Bradford, filmed leaving Leeds station passing 91101 / 82222 on the way which are preparing to depart back south. Also filmed from inside the mark 4 coach is the departure from the unusual triangle shaped Shipley station, passing what was Crossley Evans yard which is all now being redeveloped. 91111 is then seen at Bradford. Back at Leeds courtesy of a Northern class 331 (not sure who designed the seats in these but at least it was a short run!) LNER Intercity 225 / Class 91 no 91124 arrives into Platform 8 at Leeds with 1D25 from Kings X to Bradford Forster Square. A now rare occurrence of 2 class 91 locomotives passing is seen at Leeds with 91124 awaiting to depart to Bradford, as LNER’s 91111 ‘For The Fallen’ in its commemorative remembrance livery arrives with an ECS move from Bradford FS to Leeds Neville Hill. 91124 then departs to Bradford. Finally the ECS is seen departing with 82223 on the rear. #train #railway #trainspotting #225 #class91 #lner #intercity225 #video
