Kolkata to Rudranath Bike Ride | Episode 2 | Varanasi | Uttar Pradesh | Uttarakhand | Haldwani

After completing our first long-distance ride from Kolkata to Varanasi, we started Day 2 early in the morning from Varanasi. After a refreshing breakfast, we got back on our Honda H'ness CB350 and continued our ride towards Uttarakhand. The day's journey took us through long stretches of highway, busy roads, and beautiful changing landscapes. We crossed the Lucknow bypass and Outer Ring Road, steadily making our way north. Riding for hours on the open highway, managing traffic, fatigue, and the changing weather, every kilometre brought us closer to the mountains. By night, after a long and tiring day on the road, we finally reached Haldwani, Uttarakhand. It was another major milestone in our journey and the gateway to the Himalayan adventure that lies ahead. But this is only the beginning. Our ultimate goal is not just to reach Uttarakhand. We are heading towards Rudranath Temple, one of the sacred Panch Kedar temples of Lord Shiva, and the final part of our journey will take us deep into the Himalayas on foot. From the highways of North India to the remote mountain trails of Uttarakhand, this journey is a combination of motorcycle adventure, couple travel, trekking, spirituality, and the pursuit of an unforgettable Himalayan experience.
