Budva is the place for nightlife. It's a beach vacation city with a side of history. This place goes back to the times of Greeks, Illyrians, and Romans. All this history is framed between the Dinaric Alps in the background and the blue of the Adriatic Sea. Budva is on the coast of of Montenegro. It is THE premier beach destination of Montenegro — and a hotspot of the Balkans. There are a ton of things to do in Budva — a town with beaches, high-rise apartments and hotels, nightclubs, restaurants, and a small old town that feels like a miniature Dubrovnik. We spent 2 full day exploring the coast of the Budva Riviera, which is dotted with beaches, cliffs and forts that form a memorable landscape and 2 days was just enough.
