Daytime Buddha Poojawa – Offering to the Buddha The Daytime Buddha Poojawa is a devotional offering performed with faith, respect, and gratitude towards the Supreme Buddha. Through this meritorious practice, devotees recollect the immeasurable virtues of the Buddha, including His wisdom, compassion, and purity. By offering food, flowers, incense, and other suitable requisites, devotees cultivate generosity (dāna), mindfulness, and wholesome states of mind. These offerings also serve as a reminder to reflect on the Buddha’s teachings and apply the Dhamma in daily life. The true value of Buddha Pūjā lies not only in the external offerings but also in the sincere intention to understand and practise the Dhamma.
